MusterSheet runs marching band competitions from start to finish — finding and registering for events, building the performance schedule, judging, live results, fan shoutouts, and booster club organization, all in one place.

This help center walks you through everything step by step. Every guide is written in plain language: numbered steps, with the buttons and links you will click shown in bold, exactly as they appear on screen.

Add MusterSheet to your Home Screen

No installation is required — MusterSheet works in any browser. But if you use it regularly, you can add it to your iPhone or Android Home Screen and open it like an app. Two minutes, no app store: Install on your phone (optional).

Start with your role

Pick the description that fits you best:

  • I'm a band director — you lead a school band and want to enter competitions. Start with the Director overview.
  • I'm hosting a competition — you're running an event at your school and inviting other bands. Start with the Host overview.
  • I'm a judge or announcer — you've been invited to score performances or run the microphone. Start with the Judge & announcer overview.
  • I'm a fan at a competition — you're in the stands and want the live schedule, shoutouts, Fan Favorite voting, or results. Start with the Fan overview. No account is needed.
  • I'm a vendor — you sell food, photos, or apparel at competitions and want booth space. Create a Vendor account, fill in your vendor profile, and hosts can find you in the vendor directory or invite you directly. Hosts' side of that process is in Vendors.
  • I'm a booster parent or volunteer — you want your student's calendar, balance, payments, reimbursements, or volunteer sign-ups. Start with the Booster overview.
  • I help run a booster organization — you're a president, treasurer, assistant, or band director setting up the booster tools. Start with the Booster overview, then choose the officer path.

Finding answers fast

  • Use the search box at the top of every page — type a word like "shoutout" or "check-in" and matching pages appear as you type.
  • Words that may be unfamiliar (class, caption, judges packet) are explained in the Glossary.
  • Common questions are collected in the FAQ.
  • If the person who invited you cannot solve an account or product problem, contact MusterSheet support.

One account, many hats

You only ever need one MusterSheet account. The same sign-in works whether you're directing your band, hosting a competition, serving as a booster officer, judging at a neighboring school, or buying a shoutout for your kid. The site simply shows you the tools your roles allow.
