Fan & parent overview¶
There are two very different ways families use MusterSheet — pick yours:
In the stands on competition day¶
No account needed. Everything for spectators works right from your phone's web browser:
- At the stadium — the whole day in one guide: scanning the QR code, the live schedule, shoutouts, Fan Favorite voting, and where results appear. Start here on competition day.
- The live schedule — see who's performing now, who's on deck, and any announcements from the host, updating in real time.
- Send a shoutout — a personal message ("Go get 'em, Emma! Love, Mom & Dad") read over the PA by the announcer. Pay by card from your phone, or with cash at the shoutout table.
- View results — placements and ratings, the moment the host publishes them.
Usually you get there by scanning the QR code posted at the gate with your phone's camera — it opens a welcome page with big buttons for the schedule and shoutouts.
Part of a booster club¶
If your student's band program uses MusterSheet's booster tools, you do need a (free) account, and you'll want these guides:
- Join your booster group — connect your account to your student, by invitation or join code.
- Calendar, RSVPs & volunteering — the season calendar on your phone, telling the boosters whether your student will be at an event, and claiming volunteer spots.
- Student fees & payments — see exactly what your student owes, line by line, and pay online.
