Calendar, RSVPs & volunteering

Your booster group's calendar is the season at a glance — practices, games, competitions, fundraisers, meetings, band camp. Open it from My Students (look for the [Your group] Calendar link).

Reading the calendar

  • On a computer you can flip between a month Grid and a List; on a phone you get a clean month-by-month agenda.
  • Each event is labeled by kind — Practice, Game, Competition, Fundraiser, Meeting, Band Camp — and shows its time or All day. Weekly events say Repeats weekly.
  • Competitions the band is registered for appear automatically, with a live status badge (Accepted, Registration pending, and so on) and a link to that competition's public schedule.
  • An event marked Hoping to attend is tentative — usually a competition the band has applied to but isn't accepted into yet.

Tap any event to expand it: location, details, and a comment thread where parents can ask questions (Add a commentComment).

Get it on your phone's calendar

The Subscribe on Your Phone card at the top gives you a personal calendar link. Add it once and every new event or change syncs to your phone automatically:

  • Google Calendar: on a computer, open Google Calendar → next to Other calendars click +From URL → paste the link.
  • iPhone/Apple Calendar: Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar → paste the link.

The link is personal to you

Don't forward your calendar link — it's tied to your account. Other parents get their own from the same page.

RSVP for your student

Inside an event, under "Will your student be there?", tap Yes or No for each of your students. That's the whole job — it tells the officers how many kids to plan for. You can change your answer any time before the event.

Claim a volunteer spot

Events that need helpers show Volunteer spots — "Chaperone, 2 of 4 filled", "Concessions, 1 of 2 filled". If you can help:

  1. Tap Claim on the spot.
  2. You'll see a green You're in tag with your name added to the list.
  3. Plans changed? Tap Release to give the spot back — better early than never.
