Competition day

On the day of the event, MusterSheet becomes your live companion. Keep your phone handy — everything below is designed for it.

Open your Day-of Dashboard

  1. Sign in on your phone and go to your Dashboard.
  2. On today's competition card, tap Day-of Dashboard.

The page shows, at a glance:

  • Your current status: Scheduled → Checked In → Warm-Up → Staging → On Field → Complete.
  • Two big tiles: Warm-Up (time and location) and You Perform (time, plus a live countdown like "2 bands away", "YOU'RE NEXT", and "ON FIELD NOW").
  • The Schedule, with a Now marker on the band currently performing and a You marker on your slot.
  • Contacts (tap-to-call) and Arrival & Parking info.

The page updates by itself — no need to refresh. As the announcer moves the day along, the markers move with it.

Check in from your phone

When you arrive, you can check in without hunting down the check-in table:

  1. On the Day-of Dashboard, tap Complete Check-in.
  2. Confirm your Buses Arrived and Trailers Arrived counts.
  3. Tick the two checkboxes:
    • Accessibility needs verified — any special requirements have been communicated to event staff.
    • Student leaders verified — drum majors, section leaders, and captains are present and briefed.
  4. Tap Submit Check-In. You'll see "Check-in complete! Your information has been recorded."

Or check in at the table

Prefer the human touch? The host's check-in volunteers can check your band in at the table instead — same result. Either way works; do whichever happens first. You must be checked in before the announcer can stage your band, so don't skip it.

While you wait

Watch the You Perform tile — it counts down the bands ahead of you. After you perform, your status flips to Complete, and you'll see a counter of how many judges have turned in their scores for your band.

Then comes the good part: Results & your judges packet.
