Band staff

Band staff are people who help with your band but aren't listed as its directors, like your assistant directors. Band staff can see your band's judges packets after a competition publishes results. You can also let them edit your band profile or your roster counts.

Band staff don't see your registrations. To share those too, add the person as a co-director instead.

Give your staff access to your judges packets

Any director on the band can do this.

1. Open your band profile.
2. Scroll down to Band Staff.
3. Under Invite staff by email, type the person's email address.
4. If they should help keep your band's details up to date, check Can edit band profile.
5. If they should help keep your student counts up to date, check Can edit roster counts.
6. Tap Send invite.

Leave both boxes empty if they only need to see packets.

• Can edit band profile lets them change your band and school details, section leaders, music, soloists, and travel.
• Can edit roster counts lets them change the roster grid: how many students you have in each group and grade.

The person gets an email with a link. Their email shows in your list as Invite sent. Once they accept, it shows their name and Active.

Send the invite again

An invite link works for 14 days. If someone's invite says Expired, or they can't find the email:

1. Find their email under Band Staff.
2. Tap Resend invite. They get a new link.

Change what someone can edit

1. Find their name under Band Staff.
2. Check or uncheck Can edit band profile and Can edit roster counts.
3. Tap Save permissions.

Remove someone

1. Find their name under Band Staff.
2. Tap Remove.
3. Tap OK.

They can't see your packets anymore, starting right away.

You were invited as band staff

Your director sent you an email that says You're invited to help with and your school's name. Accepting adds you to your school's band. It does not make a new band.

Already made your own director account?

Some staff signed up as a director to see results. That made a second copy of your school's band, and that copy never gets your band's scores. You don't need another account. Sign in with the one you already have and accept the invite. Any account works, even one with a different email than the invite went to.

If you already have a MusterSheet account

1. In the email, tap Accept invitation.
2. Tap Sign In to Accept.
3. Sign in.
4. Tap Accept Invitation.

If you were already signed in, you go straight to Accept Invitation.

If you're new to MusterSheet

1. In the email, tap Accept invitation.
2. Under Create an account, type your Full Name.
3. Check that your Email is right.
4. Type a Password. It needs at least 8 characters.
5. Check both boxes to agree to the terms.
6. Tap Create Account & Join.

Find your band's judges packets

1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Find the Band staff card with your school's name.
3. Tap a competition to open its judges packet.

If the card says Packets appear here after a competition publishes results., nothing is out yet. When results come out, you get a Judges Packet available notice in the bell. Tap it to open the packet.

Edit the band

You can only do this if your director checked a box for you.

1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. On the Band staff card, tap Edit band.
3. Make your changes. You only see the parts your director lets you change.
4. Tap Save Changes.
